At Spectratec Inc., we offer a proven range of advanced tablet coating solutions developed in partnership with Quantum Colours SA, and supported by a team of highly qualified chemists with deep formulation expertise.

Our PHARMASPEC™ product line includes both wet and dry film-coating systems, engineered to meet the functional needs of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical manufacturers. These coatings are available in two primary formulations:

  • HPMC-based systems

  • PVA-based systems

Each system is purpose-built for specific applications such as:

PHARMASPEC™ is a complete system that has been developed based on the latest German technology. This system is a ready-mix fine powder blend of the highest quality film-forming polymers, plasticisers and pigments. PHARMASPEC™ is manufactured with raw materials that comply with the latest USP, BP, EU Pharmacopeia and FDA standards. This system provides protection of the active against light, oxygen, moisture and other functional components (sub-coating).
